# 68: Natalie Bassingthwaighte - Alive

Another singer from Neighbors(which brought you Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Delta Goodrem and more popular Australian singers..)!!

I'm absolutely, positively in love with this song. Melody-wise it's probably one of the best songs on this list and vocals-wise it's a strong contender as well.

I love the instrumentation of this song, it gives it a different edge, making it ultra amazing. The friction between Natalie's rough-ish vocals and the grainy instruments is a pleasure to listen to. You might think it would be really clash-y, but somehow it's not. The people behind this song knew when to give it texture and when to just let it lay low.

This just narrowly missed the top ten, peaking at number 11.
